JOB SUMMARYPerforms patient care on appropriate athletic patients upon referral from a physician.
Responsible to evaluate and treat specified athletic injuries.
Provides consultation with physician regarding patient care upon request.
Works with the Director of Therapy in the coordination and management of athletic training contracts.
Assists with the daily operation of specialized programming.
May treat patients delegated to them from the Physician Therapist, reporting changes in condition and reactions to treatment.
In a high school setting, will be responsible for injury treatment that athletes may need.
This includes immediate care of injuries ranging from minor sprains to catastrophic head and neck injuries and conditions such as exertional heat illnesses.
Make appropriate referrals as needed.
Also works with coaching staff in injury prevention.
QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate of CAAHEP accredited school with a B.
S.
in Athletic Training.
Training and ExperienceLicensed by the state of Ohio as an Athletic Trainer.
Certified by the National Athletic Training Association Board of Certification.
Administrative experience including student/self, personnel supervision and program development.
Healthcare provider CPR/AED certification required.
Has the ability to communicate with patients under mental and/or physical stress.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
